New to Church?

You're very welcome to our church whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life. We hope that here you'll find out everything you need to know about our church.

Key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church family meets every Sunday at 9:30am to worship God, learn from the Bible and equip us for living as Christians in everyday life . Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start. Meetings are as follows:

Sundays at 9.30 am (there is one service of Holy Communion each month)

Thursdays, once a month at 9.30 am Holy Communion

We meet at:
Enderby Parish Church
Leicester Lane, Enderby,
Leicester LE19 4AR

You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a warm welcome at the entrance to the church, along with a Bible to read and consider during the Bible teaching. Our Welcome Team will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. Every service includes songs of worship, prayers, bible readings and Bible teaching from a church leader.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service and toilet facilities are available at the back of the building. You'll find plenty of time after the service ends to meet new people, ask more questions or pray with someone about anything on your mind.

What happens with the children at church?

Creche:  Our creche is a safe and clean place for children who might be feeling unsettled on Sunday mornings. The room can be found on the left hand side as you face the back of the church building. The creche is unsupervised, so we ask that parents remain with their children while using the room.

Children & young people:   We encourage children to stay with their parents during the service.  There are no separate groups currently running, but, watch this space!

Is there a dress code?

No, not at all.

Will I have to join in?

Don't feel any pressure to join in, especially in the monthly service of Holy Communion where you are free to receive prayer without having to take the bread and wine. You are free just to observe or take part as much as feels comfortable for you.
